EAP

EAP services are free of charge and offer up to eight counseling sessions per issue per year to both you and your eligible family members. The EAP is staffed with experienced and licensed mental health professionals who provide personalized guidance services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. See Frequently Asked Questions for answers to commonly asked questions.

For assistance regarding your EAP, please call ValueOptions at 1-800-982-8161
or the Northrop Grumman Corporate EAP line at 1-888-215-8047. Important Note:
Technical Services employees covered by Boon administered health plans should contact Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield at 1-800-346-5484 for EAP services.

EAP can help and support you with a variety of issues:

    • Marital and family problems
    • Depression and/or anxiety and fears
    • Alcohol and/or drug abuse
    • Divorce and blended family concerns
    • Balancing work and family
    • Child or adult care issues
    • Work-related concerns
    • Parenting issues
    • Career transition issues
    • Personal growth and development

When you call the EAP, you will speak with an experienced and licensed counselor who will assist you in getting the help you need.

If the counselor believes that you need specialized or longer-term counseling, you may be referred to another qualified professional. The important thing is that you decide, along with the counselor, about the action plan that is right for you. The EAP helps you resolve personal problems before they negatively affect your health, relationships with others, or job performance.
